Setting up your firm

WatsonOS uses SSO (Single Sign-On). Sign in with your Microsoft 365 or Xero account — no separate password to manage.

Go to Settings → Users → Invite Staff. Enter the staff member’s name, email address, and role.

The role determines how WatsonOS works for that person — a preparer sees different screens and jobs at different stages to a reviewer, a signer, or an admin. Get the role right and the system routes work to the right people automatically.

The staff member will receive an email with a link. They click the link and sign in via SSO.

Once your clients are on the platform, allocate your staff to the clients they work on. Any clients you don’t add a staff member to, they won’t see. This keeps each person’s dashboard and job list focused on their own work.
